You can visit London any time of the year, but gaining vital information about the seasons, can work in your favor. Mainly London houses four major seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The Spring month starts from March to May; Summer is from June to August, Autumn starts from September to November and Winter is from December to February.

A perfect time for enjoying nature’s beauty, you need to visit London during this part of the year. You can enjoy the sporting prowess on river Thames. During this time, the city is bedecked with spring bloom and other patriotic celebrations. In the month of April, you can enjoy some amazing free rides, like Easter activities, London marathon and even be a part of St. George’s Day celebrations.

• Summer: Defined as the warmest season in London, here, you will enjoy long sunny days and thunderstorms, occasionally. If you want to enjoy the capital’s some famous events like Trooping the color, Queen’s birthday parade and tennis at Wimbledon, then summer is the right time for you. You can even explore some of London’s outdoor attractions, in the month of July. For other child-friendly attractions for kids, August is the right time for you.

• Autumn: It is a mix of dry and wet weather, sometimes windy. During this time tree will shed its leaves and temperature dips. It is the festive month in London with city-wide celebrations. Moreover, October is the month of drink, food and film scenes in London.

• Winter: Coldest season in London, people will experience freezing temperature, snow, and icy conditions over here. If you want to come over here for Christmas shopping, December is the month! It has some amazing New Year’s celebration, as well.
