Wellcome Collection

Welcome collection is a museum that explores the connection between medicine life and art. This is established in 2007.  The museum is a part of the welcome trust which was introduced by Sir Henry Solomon Wellcome. He is an impassioned traveler and he collected a large number of books, objects and paintings at the topic of historical development of worldwide medicine. The museum displays over 1500 objects that belongs to six centuries. The collection includes past, present and future of medicine.

5000 visitors per year visit the museum. It is called as the “free destination for the incurably curious”. 

The museum offers current and historic exhibits, collections, public events, world famous welcome library, a café, bookshop and conference facilities. 

Apart from that museum displays ancient sex aids, royal hair, shrunken heads, a DNA sequencing robot and a Marc Quinn sculpture.
