Located within the Valentines Park, Valentine's Mansion & Gardens is located in Ilford Redbridge. This garden and mansion was built in 1696 and for Lady Tillotson. She was the widow of Archbishop of Canterbury, and it remained family place until Sarah died on 1906. After that, this mansion became a property of Iiford Borough Council in the year 1912. Tis place was then used as council offices, till 1994.
Later, this place was run and owned by London Borough of Redbridge. This place is termed as Grade II building until 2009. After that, it went through an extensive refurbishment, which was financed by London Borough of Redbridge and the Heritage Lottery Fund. Nowadays, this place is open for various events.
