St John

Opened in the year 1994 by Fergus Henderson, Jon Spiteri and Trevor Gulliver, St John opened its gates for the finest collections of food, which you have ever come across. Its first session was on the premises of the former smoke bacon house, located in Smithfield, London. This restaurant started its venture under strict guidance of Henderson, and started offering meat cuts, which were rare to be seen in the restaurants of that time.

This restaurant has already won numerous awards, which include the overall London Restaurant ward in the year 2001 and Chandon Restaurant Awards. Some of the typical dishes of this place are ducks’ heart, pigs’ ear, bone marrow and pig’s tail.
