Sir John Soane's Museum

Previously the museum was the home of the neo-classical architect Sir John Soane.

It is sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

He gathered antiquities, sculptures, architectural models and drawings, furniture and paintings which were drawn by Hogarth, Turner and Canaletto.

Many objects are available on permanent display. Other drawings can be seen by appointment at the Research Library.

Price

Free to enter the museum.

Museum tour is available on each Saturday at 11.00 am. The ticket is £10 and are on sale from 10.30 am.

Open Close Time

Open Tuesday - Saturday 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.

Last entry 4.30 pm.

Closed Monday, Sunday, Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve (24 December)
