Princess Diana Memorial Fountain

The well-known and reputed Princess Diana Memorial Fountain is considered as a memorial, dedicated to none other than Princess Diana, who was known o have died in a car crash, in 1997. The fountain is designed to express spirit of Diana and her love towards children. This fountain is situated in the south western corner of Hyde Park.

The cornerstone of this Princess Diana Memorial Fountain was laid in 2003, September. Queen Elizabeth II opened it officially in 2004. During this time, there were some famous members present, like Charles Spencer, Prince Charles and her sons. The landscape artist, Kathryn Gustafson, first designed this fountain, and it costs £3.6 million.
