Little Holland House

Mainly defined as dower house, Little Holland House is located in Kensington, England. Charles Richard Fox occupied it at one point, along with his wide, Lady Mary Fox. Later, Henry Thoby Prinsep, known as the director of famous East India Company, took a lease from Henry Fox of 21 years. This place was then taken and entertained for the 21 years, by Prinseps, Watts and Julia Margaret Cameron. It was the center of their salon.

The lease expired in the year 1871, and after that, the Prinseps moved out from there, and later Hollands demolished this sector. After that, Thobey Prinsep leased a larger land on Lembury road, and built the Little Holland House. Here, he lived from 1876 to 1904, till his death. This house can later destroyed in bombing raid during World War II.

This place is open on first Sundays of every month from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Moreover, it is opened on bank holidays.
