Bedfont Lakes Country Parks

Situated in 72.5 hectare of land, Bedfont Lakes Country Parks is primarily defined as site of metropolitan importance. Moreover, this place is known as local nature reserve, where the place is used as nature conservation in Bedfont. This land has been a part of Manor Farm of Fawn, and Duke of St Albans opened it. Later, in the year 178-, William Sherborn purchased it. Until the 1920s, this platform was used to supply London with produce. Later, in the year 1860s, gravel extractions took place.

This site was further used as landfill site from 1950s to 1973, and it was part of the industrial and domestic waste. On the other hand, later in the year 1988, Hounslow Council took charge of the development phase of this area as Country Park, and started developing the surrounding area.
