Abbey Road

Defined as the most famous studio for recording in the world, Abbey Road studio was established in 1931, in the month of November. It is the brainchild of Gramophone Company, which is the predecessor of the British EMI music company. This place is primarily known as the notable platform for adapting some innovative recording techniques in 1960s. This platform works well with Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Badfinger and the Hollies.

At the end of 2009, this studio once faces the threat of sale to some of the property developers. At present, the British Government protects this site, after it was granted the scale II grade in the English Heritage grade.
