Nightlife in Manchester

Generally, Manchester is quite safe for visitors, but there are some places, at night, which you should avoid. Avoid the bar and pub areas, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, where there is a huge crowd, gathering outside the bars. These pubs are full, and eve-teasing is quite common for women. So, for a fun-filled time, you can take your family and friends out for a dinner in a posh restaurant cum bar. You can treat yourself with good food and equally tasty beverages!

Most of the restaurants are open till 11 pm. So, if you are planning for a dinner, you should book for the tables accordingly. For traveling over there, you can rent a car or hire services of a taxi driver. There are some buses available too, but if you want to stay back until 11 pm, then you should have a comforting car, waiting just outside the restaurant.

Avoid problems at night:

Nightlife in Manchester is fun, only if you know the rules to follow. There are some districts, in urban sectors, which must be avoided, at night. Luckily, these places are difficult to wander, as you can make out a visible distinction between rough and safe zones. Street lights with poor working signs and fewer people wandering around those streets are some signs of “red flags.”

It is better to avoid that area, stretching from Piccadilly rail station to Mancunian way, at night. While heading towards Manchester Stadium at night, you should take the Fairfield Street. The same rule is applicable while traveling towards cricket stadium and Old Trafford Football.
