Minack Theatre, Land’s End, Cornwall

This picturesque seaside theatre is an open air theatre and was built in 1930 in the garden of part-time actress Rowena Cade. It is a unique theatre perched on the cliffs high above the Atlantic ocean. Now it holds 17 plays a year from both the UK and the U.S. From the start of April to the end of September, the theatre is open to day visitors from 9.30am until 5pm, except during ticketed matinee performances on Wednesdays and Fridays, and children's story telling performances which are usually on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during school holidays.
